Bookbinding has been a passion and a life long career for Daniel and his team. We believe your job should be hand crafted by skilled binders, that can create the point of difference which will make you a winner.
The printing industry has many components with the binding and finishing at the tail end. Knowledge of Graphic design, offset and digital printing are paramount and this can only come with time and experience.
As one of the last 'old school' apprentices Daniel learnt many tricks of the trade, that can be very useful in giving your job the edge. Owning his own successful print finishing company for many years, being president of the Print finishers association, members of Print NZ, and quick printers association, award winners of the Pride and Print Awards, also the NZ Best Design Awards, we are committed to New Zealand's Design and Print Industry.

Daniel has been in the print industry since he completed his apprenticeship in book binding and print finishing and holds an advanced trade certificate. He has now been binding books for 33 years and still has all his fingers. Having worked in many different print companies he has gained a wealth of experience related to printing and binding.
Nadene helped Daniel establish Design Bind and now is a critical component in the company taking care of customer relations, accounts and many other business administration activites.
